The Newton Sixth Form, part of the Newton Group (est. 2019, central Bangkok, near Siam BTS), teaches years 2-13 on IGCSE, IAL (International A-Level), and BTEC curricula under Pearson Edexcel. Due to school growth, they are recruiting an English Teacher for Business English and IELTS (Years 11-13) in the Business School, for the academic year starting August 1, 2026. A background in business or economics is an advantage.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field; a teaching qualification such as TEFL, CELTA or equivalent is preferred but not essential. Minimum one year’s experience teaching the specialist subject to the relevant age group. Understanding of Pearson IGCSE and BTEC programmes beneficial. Preference given to native English speakers, especially those currently residing in Thailand, and Thai nationals with native-level English proficiency.

Benefits

Working hours 08:30-17:30 Monday-Friday. Starting salary from 50,000 THB/month, reviewed after a 119-day probation period. Private health insurance after probation. Renewable 12-month contract. Annual bonus equivalent to one month’s salary. All visa and work permit costs covered by the school.
